Typical Day

Typical Day

Morning
Wake up and jump out of bed to catch the first glimpse of the mountains from the window, have a fantastic breakfast to build up your strength and then it's off to the ski hire shop to meet your Neilson rep. You'll be fitted with your boots and skis and then move over to the ski school meeting point where you'll meet your instructor and fellow beginners.

Lunchtime
By midday, everyone’s glad for a long, leisurely lunch break. A cosy restaurant next to the slopes is called for.

Afternoon
Practice the skills you were taught in the morning and take your first lift to the top of the nursery slope - it may take a few tries but you'll get the hang of it.
When you've finished your day of skiing, it's your time to relax with a well-earned beer looking over the incredible slopes or soothe those aching limbs in the irresistible sauna or hot tub available in resort.

Evening
Enjoy some drinks around the open fire after your evening meal, or simply curl up in bed in preparation for another fun-filled day.

When You're Not Skiing

When Not Skiing

What many don’t realise is that skiing and snowboarding are just two of many, many winter activities waiting to be tried.

For beginners, ski holidays need not be spent entirely on the slopes. Half day lessons are often available, leaving afternoons free to experience other activities such as winter walking, snow-shoeing, tobogganing, snowmobiling and ice-skating, or something more relaxing like an afternoon being pampered in a spa centre.
